3) Humans Moderns, 10.000 generacionscartellSentits_cat

The deposit of la Roca dels Bous in Sant Llorenç de Montgai (Camarasa) is a very good example of the Neanthertal activities, the first settler of this territory. Nevertheless, 40.000 years ago, the remains of these groups of Neanthertals desappear and they are substituted by what we called modern humans (Homo sapiens sapiens) from which we have a wide archaeological register of their daily activities in the Cova Gran de Santa Linya, the most significative deposit of the moment.

This exhibition is a coproduction of the Centro de Estudios del Patrimonio Arqueológico de la Prehistoria de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (CEPAP-UAB) and la Associació Recerca i Difusió del Patrimoni Històric (ARDPH).
